004: DESIGN #2 – Poster
This is for TheatreSports competition held in Macau last September. Each team is must have a poster to “sell” their team to the audience. Our team’s theme is “fairytale”. There’s eight of us, so we each have a fairy tale character to represent us. I’m one of the three little pigs. 
If anybody’s wondering what the words mean, it’s actually our team name. We thought it was a long and unique group name until we reached Macau and found out that it sounds horrible in Cantonese. 
The 洋佳将 is actually a wordplay of 杨家将, since our team is from Nanyang (洋) and we’re pro at everything (佳) and we fight and we kick ass (将). We originally wanted “羊加酱” or “羊+酱”. Imagine… >__<
This is a collaboration with my lovely junior, though all the digital work (words, colouring, outlining) is done by me.

WA this is so KEWTT.
love the flying pigs!! they’ve even got angel wings! i really love the portrayal of the fairytale characters too and even though it’s a bombardment of colours, it doesn’t seem to go overboard so this poster is brilliant
the composition is real nice too, especially cinderella and the glass shoe and rapunzel. fairytales in such a cutesy way

I almost rushed out everything 2 days before we were due to leave for Macau… so not as detailed as i would have liked but considering the circumstances…

It’s so cute! I like the way you can fit in all your characters without them crowding up the space, for exampleRapunzel sticking her head out of the next leaning tower of Pisa is a clever and creative.
And did I mention they looked simply adorable?
