008: The Sky’s Memory
Taken on 24 January 2007, 2 minutes after morning assembly from my spot in the quadrangle.
It’s not everyday that you get this kind of sky in Singapore. I don’t usually carry my phone with me, but on that particular day, I did. Got lucky, I suppose. This image is not altered or cropped or manipulated in any way. Even if it’s taken with my pathetic 1.3 megapixel camera phone, it’s beautiful enough as it is.

This is such a great shot! It’s sadly true that we hardly get nice blue skies you hear of in places like Australia in Singapore, or this pretty cloud patterns. But what makes me feel more sad is how often we bother to look at and admire the sky (which is not often at all).
During my global classroom programme everyone had their cameras pointed at people and buildings, and sadly hardly anyone bothered to look at the sky.. so seeing such a wonderful photo of yours makes me very happy ^^
Haha.. I used to look at the sky and think they were the bottom of another universe, and your lil’ pic kind of brings me back to that daydream. ^^
